(HRV), an industry leader in materials quality assurance and quality control inspection, coatings inspection, construction management and construction inspection.
 

Our BD/Marketing Group is seeking a business development professional with the skills and background necessary to succeed at developing new client relationships, nurturing existing client relationships, and supporting the entire business development life cycle across the spectrum of HRV’s technical capabilities and client types.

 

A strong candidate for the Manager of Business Development position will:

  • Identify and pursue ongoing strategic relationships with clients, decision-makers, and industry technical leaders
  • Lead business development initiatives such as lead tracking, market research, sales forecasting and reporting
  • Track and report on industry and business trends used in developing new services, products, and geographies
  • Work with the executive team to develop corporate and divisional strategic market plans and metrics
  • Coordinate client meetings
  • Promote the HRV brand and elevate the firm’s visibility through attendance at industry networking opportunities (trade association meetings, conferences, tradeshows, etc.)
  • Develop a deep knowledge of HRV’s markets and competitors
  • Participate in proposal development, reviews and submission processes
  • Oversee marketing report development and distribution
  • Deliver external HRV overview presentations when necessary

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Entrepreneurial outlook
  • Familiarity with infrastructure (transportation, civil, building, etc.) markets is a plus
  • Experience developing potential teaming partners
  • Experience creating and submitting proposals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Marketing Databases and CRM applications

 

Education/Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in a technical field preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of business development experience in a highly technical industry
  • OR an equivalent combination of practical experience and technical education
