NACE Certified Coatings Inspector qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least three years experience with cleaning and painting of steel, preferably bridge structural steel (two years experience with NACE Level 2 certification will meet the three year requirement)
- Must have a minimum NACE Level 1 Certification
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Physically able to climb or crawl through a containment system
- Ability to pass occupational physical with pulmonary clearance (respirator)
- Ability to work as a member of a team and independently, have some flexibility in their schedule
- Candidates applying for this position must be able to pass a background check
- Additional certifications including: SSPC Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI), and SSPC-C3 Supervisior
